…barbecue at ESIEE!
They are working hard and just about to deliver their commissioned MAPCO projects (on Friday).
But April has been really sunny. The daisies are out. And this is 22nd and final week of the course. Next week we go to Finland. Then it’s the internships.
Today, for the first time in 20 years, our ITMP students had a barbecue in the ESIEE park. A long table was set up under the chestnut and oak trees. On it were kebabs, merguezes, salads, a delicious taboulé (thank you Xuan), lots of drinks. Music pumping away in the background. A bit of football from time to time. Lots of laughter and good humour. Hundreds and hundreds of pictures were taken and are surely all over Facebook. The one I’d like to see is Didier’s son being held in a Superman position by Aleksander over the heads of the ITMPs – a flying start to innovation.
Mike arrived in time for dessert.
Leila brought out some excellent home made cakes, which were rapidly eaten as was the fruit salad.
It was a wonderful initiative and a great afternoon.
All the same I was 10 minutes late for my phone interview with a (patient and understanding) ITMP2015 candidate.
