It’s all over now…

…for the ITMP 2012 Masters students whose graduation ceremony took place this afternoon at the headquarters of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, just a stone’s throw from the Champs Elysées.

Dominique Perrin, the Director of ESIEE Paris, gave an introductory speech.

Those ITMPs who managed to come got their degrees, lots of applause and their pictures taken. (Marie, Nathalie, Charlin, Laurent, Mourad, Pierre, Riad and Roger)

Marie de Heaulme gave a really nice thank you speech based on key words her fellow ITMPs gave her to sum up their year.

The Multimedia Masters students did the same. Michel Dalipagic, Head of the IMN M.S. got a big round of applause.

The MoTIS MSc students came and got their degrees.

Derek Mainwaring, MoTIS  course director got lots of applause too.

Kaushik Mukherjee is convinced he gave a bad « thank you » speech (because it was impromptu) but in fact it was natural, spontaneous and meaningful, and therefore good.

Fabien Lebarbey, president of the ESIEE alumni gave a short speech planned to be delivered in French but actually spoken in really good and fluent English.

The godfather of all these 40 or so students, Alosius John, NGO troubleshooter and globetrotting disaster programme manager, currently working for CARITAS, adressed the freshly graduated students and wished them success in their careers.

Then more photos and a cocktail reception.

Michel Pagerie, who taught us all we needed to get  our IPMA certifications last year was there. So too was Mike Gradwell, who prepared the ITMPs for many of their vivas.

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I’ll have to wait for people to send me their pictures…
